Through our crew, MWF are able to provide positive role models, demonstrating that people with a disability do not have to be confined by it and creating optimism. This program is run entirely by volunteers. Group bookings of minimum 7 maximum 13 with at least 5 with disability/special needs and a maximum of 3 wheelchairs including can be booked by school or community groups. Brisbane Race WeekLocation: Royal Queensland Yacht SquadronAddress: 578 Royal Esplanade Manly QLD 4179 Time: Fri May 3, 1:00 pm to Fri May 3, 4:00 pm Available to Crew Volunteers Only Crew: 8Friday afternoon's racing takes its lead from Formula 1 qualifying with 'hot laps' around Green Island. Competing yachts will have a three-hour window to complete as many laps as they can and can choose to circumnavigate the island in any direction. The fastest lap on elapsed and corrected time will decide the race winners. | |
