Winds of Joy - Geelong - AMLocation: RGYCAddress: 25 Eastern Beach Rd Geelong VIC 3220 Time: Fri November 17, 10:00 am to Fri November 17, 12:00 pm Passengers: 13 Making Waves Foundation offer a Winds of Joy Program which is designed to give children with disability and disadvantaged children and youth the opportunity to go sailing. Through our crew, MWF are able to provide positive role models, demonstrating that people with a disability do not have to be confined by it and creating optimism. This program is run entirely by volunteers. Group bookings of minimum 7 maximum 13 with at least 5 with disability/special needs and a maximum of 3 wheelchairs including can be booked by school or community groups. If you are one of our authorised crew members and would like to crew, please follow the steps as per above and add your name to the crew list. All crew should register their intention at least 2 weeks prior to their intended sail and be at the boat 1 hour prior to the sail time listed for boat call. | |
